Paulo Zarate is one of the most in demand music producers in the country today. His works have received numerous nominations and awards in various award giving bodies ( Awit, Araw, Ad Congress, and such). He presently owns and manages Studio Z Audio Productions and Recording Studios which supplies music for all the major network, record labels, production houses and ad agencies here and abroad, RO3 multimedia a video and photography outfit which produces music videos, tv commercials and print ads. He is also the co-Program head for Music Business Management in Meridian International college (mint). He is also a songwriter, musical arranger, musical director, session singer, music consultant and a talent manager.

Being with Studio Z almost a year after it was born, senior audio engineer Martin Andrew R. Guevara has a mission… to prove that music is indeed the universal language; a certain kind of language that has no boundaries, class, or race. A kind of language that is meant for everybody to understand and digest thus, having a sense of equality for everyone. That’s why working with this guy is as easy as one, two, three. He easily finds joy in whatever he does in music production. He also hails from a family of musicians, therefore having a wide array of musical influences. A graduate of University of the Philippines, Diliman (BA Creative Writing in Filipino), Andrew has more tricks packed in his bag. The skills he learned in the field of letters are a lot of help in the field of music production. He was once a writer, producer, and talent for a children’s TV show. This experience has taught him how to work under pressure and how to enjoy “work and play” at the same time. Normally, he is a jolly guy that clients commend in most of their sessions.

Graduated from the University of Sto. Tomas with a degree of AB Behavioral Science, Jan soon landed a job in the HR Field; enabling him to acquire skills critical to both corporate world and other aspects in life. It has a promising future, yet music has a different calling for him. During the 90’s he became part of Pambata Papuri Singers but later recorded with a child group Tuk-Hi-Pas. He then became a musician listening to a wide range of musical influences from gospel music to jazz. These experiences prepared him to be flexible in dealing with different clients along with their demands, and to further his career in the music industry. Today, whether the output will be for personal use or to be broadcasted, Jan aims customer satisfaction with a big smile on his face and making work synonymous to fun.

That’s the cheery greeting you’ll usually hear on the other side of the line, with a familiar voice of Celeste Papiña manning the office of Studio Z. She’s one of the pioneers of the studio ever since it’s establishment. She finished college with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Management Accounting at (MSEUF) Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, Lucena City. Whether it is studio inquiries or schedule, you can always depend on the assistance of the lovely studio secretary. She enjoys her work tremendously that most of the time a celebrity comes in, she gets starstrucked but of course as to any fan, she’s would still be able to take photos with them and she has lots of pictures to prove it.
Apparently her love for music led her to the industry. Have you ever wondered how one hit song come about? From the composing stage, to musical arrangement, to recording, then mixing and mastering and until we hear it on the radio or performed in a TV show. One thing we can be sure of, that Studio Z is a one stop audio production that can cater to the needs of the client which Celeste can attest to. Studio Z is like home to its clientele.
